Can't see black and white converted images!

I converted some of my images in black and white and it only shows on the side thumbnail but not in the work/preview field. How is this possible? Before it worked. I did not do any new settings other than copying adjustments. Can someone help me out with this?

    The thumbnail is a small jpeg representing the pp at a given point.
    I think you'd have to make sure that the alteration have copied…
