    My C1 Pro v20 has "Filters" at the bottom of the Library tool.

    Check the file path of the import destination folder as shown in the "Import to - Destination - Folder" window.
    In the past I've found C1 will very occasionally try to import to a previous session Capture folder.
    Before you close a new session confirm where the files are actually located (show in explorer).

    Can you describe exactly how you use your sessions and run your import.

    Do you have 2 sessions open at the same time?

    I cannot think of a way in which data for an import location set as a "Favourite" in a former session would be lost when importing to a new session. 

    I could see a situation where a new session shares a common imported files folder with an older session  but that would not normally mean the connection to the older files and their edits would be lost.
