How do you move folders/files into a different catalog

FirstName LastName

I use catalogs based on the year the pics were down-loaded into C1.  For example, pics from 2020 are loaded into a catalog named "Capture One 2020" and pics from 2021 should be loaded into a catalog named, "Capture One 2021".  There is only one problem, my brain did shift and I loaded 10 folders from 2021 into the 2020 catalog.  My dilemma is how do I correct my goof and get these 10 folders into my catalog named "Capture One 2021" with the rest of the 2021 pics?

    Caveat: I haven't done this.

    I'd select the collection containing the images I want to move and export them as a catalog.   After verifying the newly created catalog I'd remove the images from the 2020 catalog.  Then I'd import the newly created catalog into the existing 2021 catalog.  Once I know the import went well I'd delete the catalog I used to do the move.

    Of course I'd start with a backup of everything just in case.
