C1 not seeing iPad
I just returned from a photo outing in which I saved all my DNG files to an iPad folder in Readle Documents. The problem is that Capture One 21 (v14.2.0.136) does not show the iPad in the Session Import page. At the same time, the iPad does appear in the Finder, but of course, I cannot access the particular folder where the image files are stored. The iPad is running OS 14.5.1. It is connected to a MacPro (2013) via an original Apple cable.
I have used this same method of import previously and cannot understand why the C1 is not recognizing the iPad at this time

I thought that I would try copying the DNG files from the Document app and placing the copies in a free-standing folder on the iPad. C1 does not see this folder either, nor does Finder, ON1 or Photo Mechanic. I know that there is a way to get the image files onto my Mac, but how? I can upload to iCloud Drive, but that process would take days to complete, given my sluggish internet connection.

To transfer between device and Mac I select what I want to transfer, click on the share icon, then pick AirDrop to transfer a copy of the file to my Mac. There may be better ways. I don't transfer things often enough to check as this works well enough for my needs.
Mostly I don't use my phone/ipad as a storage device.

Marco, thanks for the suggestion re using AirDrop. It was a little slow but still acceptable.
I am using my iPad for file storage for the first time, because I never carry a laptop when I travel, and I got tired of the added weight and finicky behavior of my external hard drive. I cannot believe that there is not a simple way to transfer files from an iPad to a Mac, but I may have to contact Apple to find out.
