Constantly spinning cog wheel
Since updating to CO 14.2, there is a constantly spinning grey cogwheel in the centre of the bar above the main image, next to the light value figures. Is this a bug?

See discussion at: https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360015715038-Spinning-icon- previously discussed.
The activity monitor will not show any activity, but if you hover over the spinning gear icon, it says something like "focusing previews." It is a bug, b ut it does not seem to affect performance.

Correction: Hovering of the icon shows "focusing viewer," not preview. What this means is a mystery since the viewer does not appear to need focusing.

Hi, the same thing happens to me but I do feel that it affects performance. I don't know if it's due to this loop on the wheel, but the truth is that C21 is really slow. I am running it on a last generation MAC with an unbeatable configuration. Undoubtedly, it is not a question of the incapacity of the computer.

I really should have tried this first, but quitting out of CO completely and then re-launching the app seems to have removed the constantly spinning wheel: it now just whirrs briefly as usual.

I was going to mention that, but I found it came back intermittently.

I spoke too soon. After "waking" the computer and the app, it was spinning constantly again.
