Use Mouse Wheel to change Thumbnail Size (Browser Zoom Level)
Currently the size of thumbnails (images shown within the browser) can be changed by either using a slider in the Browser toolbar or (theoretically) by using keyboard shortcuts.
In addition to the above ways of changing the browser zoom level, it should be possible to use the mouse wheel (while the mouse cursor is hovering over the browser area).
The Viewer already supports this style of zooming and there is no reason why the browser should not allow the same quick method (the mouse cursor position would determine which of the two windows (if any) would change its zoom level).
Using the slider in the Browser toolbar is a workaround for me because I keep the Browser toolbar closed to save space. It is is too cumbersome to always show the browser bar, adjust the thumbnail size, and then hide the browser bar again.
Using keyboard shortcuts would allow me to change the thumbnail size while the browser bar is hidden, but the "increase"/"decrease" shortcuts don't work correctly (Windows version); they do not allow to access the full zoom range from small to large (regardless of the browser size). I reported this as a bug, it has been acknowledged as a bug (a long time ago), but has not been fixed yet.
P.S.: I posted this requested earlier, but it has been incorrectly marked as "answered" because it was thought that I had missed the possibility to change the Browser zoom level via the slider in the Browser toolbar.

P.S.: The issue of the "increase/decrease" keyboard shortcuts that should affect the Browser zoom setting / thumbnail size, is caused by a non-standard (<> 100%) display scaling setting when using Windows.
It can be replicated by setting the Windows display scaling to a factor like "120%". Higher factors may have to be chosen to fully replicate the problem on 2K or 4K displays. Using a FullHD (1920x1080) display, a factor of "120%" is already enough to render the keyboard shortcuts useless, but on a 2K display, two zoom settings (out of what can be ~20 settings when using a default display scaling of "100%" and the Browser Toolbar scrollbar) still remain.0
