images are not recognized by c1
Hello,
i have the strange effect that some images are not recognized by C1. All other programs (Affinity, Photolab, Preview etc.) recognize these images without problems. Only when I export a copy with these programs these images are recognized in C1, but then protected as view only.
These are jpgs in black white and I have no clue what it could be. (something in the header that prevents c1 from recognizing the image?) (there is no View Global Filter on and otherwise there were no problems with c1 with other jpg files)
I have the problem both with Mac and with Windows.
Does anyone have any ideas or ever had the same problem?
Thank you for your feedback.

Hi Thomas,
Unfortunately, Capture One can't process grayscale images. If this is the case, I would suggest to open them in an other application (such as Photoshop, Affinity Photo, etc..) and convert them into an RGB colour space. This is what I had to do for all my B&W images scanned in gray colour space a long time ago.

Hi Robert,
thank you very much for your advice.
That was exactly it! After the conversion into RGB the images are visible in C1. Great! It would be nice if C1 would show an error message in such a case, instead of leaving you so completely in the dark.
Greetings
Thomas
