Print a big image in tile form with multiple sheets?
Hi is there any quick and easy way to print a large image, (Tiff/300dpi/50 megapixels) in grid form/or tile form as a multiple smaller pages set (example A4 or A3/A3+) to then assemble the printed trimed sheets and get a large image in paper with for example nine A3 sheets (a collage)? My printer goes only up to A3+ borderless. Thank you very much.

Same question. The only option I can find online is to use Adobe Acrobat Reader after converting to a pdf?! (which, works but is VERY clunky). Is this really so hard??

Try the software tools that come with your printer?
Possibly also the printer setup options if the printer driver supports such a tiling feature.
The OP mentioned producing 9 A3 sheets. Rather large.
To do that you may need a lot of pixels to start with or a reduced resolution. A reduced resolution would likely still be fine for viewing at a distance appropriate for a print of that size. However, if the requirement is to view details from sections of the print viewed very close to the output a special process may need to be followed when producing an output file rather than attempting to print directly from within the C1 Print option.
Realistically the scale and associated costs of such very large prints would probably be best managed by producing an output file via C1 and then using a printer dedicated application to perform the print output management and include the tiling process the printer would require to prived a reproducible and accurate output.
