Fast Edit in Photoshop button

Can we do a little poll here? :-) 

How many people would like a fast and easy way to edit a photo in photoshop? I mean faster than:

1 - right click
2 - edit with
3 - photoshop
4 - edit variants

So let's say something like the Command + D to process the selected variants

  In an Output Recipe there is an option to specify an "open with" program.

  Also the use of Command + D on Mac I think.

   

  How close would that get you?

  I think this is quite an easy-to-miss feature. Many users seem to avoid the Output Recipes and so the options available are less often deployed and experienced by both users and support people. 

  There are some other features that also seem to be easily overlooked ... but I cannot remember what they are ... ;)

  Oh I do use the recipes, of course, but opening the result with PS right away didn’t come to my mind yet.
