Nikon or Pro version?

I edit images for Nikon and canon mostly.  if I get the Nikon version will C1 not be able to read .jpg 's from a canon. And if that's the case, is there a plugin for additional camera brands.  Or do I have to pony up more money because I edit 2 different systems???

    You can edit jpeg images from any camera with the standard limitations that you get from working with jpeg.   The camera vender versions are limited in raw file support.   The Nikon version can only handle raw files from Nikon cameras.

    Raw file support is not added by a plugin... it is enabled by use of the appropriate license.   If you want to edit raw files from different camera vendors you will need the Pro version.

    In fact, you're given the privilege of paying less if you only use one system - and Canon users don't even get that option: we have to pay the full whack even if we only use Canon, because their isn't a Canon only option.
