Maybe tell us some more, such as what camera you are using. It may be that there is a setting in the camera that you need to change. (I don't use tethering myself, but I suspect that this information might help other users to assist you.)

Hey Ian. Thanks for getting back to me..I use Canon 70D. I look up if it's compatible with CO and CO21 and it still is...

I have checked in the camera and I think everything is fine as far as inside the camera. Like I said before there's a battery with a slash across it as the computer is looking for the camera. The back of the camera has the computer icon on display meaning, the camera is seeing the computer. The computer is not seeing the camera. Hope you can add anything to help me find the correlation here. Thanks for your time... Best, Roberto

I have a Nikon D850 and have to remove the memory cards before C1 will see the camera.  Just tested a sony A6500 which I do not have to remove the memory card but must make sure the usb connecton is configured  as PC Remote in setup menu. Auto setting with A6500 causes C1 to open import menu which can be turned off with Preferences. Not sure how the Canon is setup but you may want to try without memory cards and see if the connecting port on the camera is configurable in menu.  Running Big Sur on Intel iMac.

    Hope this helps
