Leica SL tethering issues

Shooting tethered with Leica SL 601, with the latest firmware 3.7. C1 registers the connection and all the settings are displayed in the Camera pane. Usually I can get to shoot one or two frames before the images stop importing. Rarely can I get more than six images to import before a camera restart and usb cable disconnect/reconnect has to be performed. I have tried the Leica usb cable and TT cables with the same result. If the camera is left idle for only a better of a few seconds before making a capture after the initial tethering i have to redo the whole reboot sequence again.

This isn't a issue specific to one Mac either. The same thing happens on my MBP, MacPro and a client's iMac.

Interestingly, I don't have this issue with tethering with the SL2. Sometimes I just don't need the resolution of the SL2 and need to shoot with the SL.
