    Hey Kevin,

did you solf the proplem yet? I have the same. A big one, because as long i didn´t put the new files into userfolders i have to open "all files" to see the new files. That means my PC has to load many files (16000) - not usable.

    Thanks,

    Flo

I have the same problem after my catalog got corrupted. After repairing and verifying ok, this empty Recent Imports on restart continues to happen.

First, I'm running Windows 10. I don't know what your OS is.

The following came from Capture One support. It worked, but I don't know why.

I first created a new Administrative account, then opened Capture One, then created a new catalog and tested it by importing images. The catalog worked fine.

I returned to my User account, opened Capture One, and created a new catalog. With the new catalog open, I imported the old catalog. The new catalog (with all of the adjustments, references, keywords, etc. from the old catalog) worked fine.

I haven't had any problems since. I hope this helps.

Thanks advice worked fine! Also on Windows 10.

For some reason, some albums failed to be recreated (altho the images were there), so i recreated these.

same problem. After import, the folder recent imports is empty.

And directly imported to folder, the images appear, but after restart c1 they are gone.
Tried it with a new folder. same result.

Add another one with this same problem.

    Kevin and/or John,

Can you give a more detailed step by step as I didn't quite follow Kevin's fix.  I am confused by administrative account and then user account.

Seems I'm a bit slow on the uptake.  Thanks in advance.

Hi, i didn’t use multiple accounts. I just created an empty catalog and imported photos from my corrupt catalog. All from the same account.

    Hope this helps!

    John,

Thanks for the reply.  I tried your technique, but without success.  When the new catalog was first opened, all looked good.  I added a couple of test images, and they showed up as hoped for.

Then I closed C1, and upon opening it again, all the images were gone from the catalog and the "New" listings.

I had tried Kevin's fix yesterday after finally understanding the procedure.  It behaved with no joy as with your technique.

My work around is simply to created a new catalog, and used my current one as a semi-archive for my current images without added any new ones.  If I edit in the old catalog, I can drag the new variant from the catalog folder to Collections, and it will stay there through any later off/on cycles.

A newly created catalog works just fine as long as I don't try importing from the corrupted catalog.

    Thanks much for your response.

    Erwin
