Sessions – default output to current folder
I'm currently evaluating C1 Pro as an external editor for my raw files, using Mylio as my DAM. With Sessions in C1, I'm able to open a folder on my harddrive that's also a part of the folder structure Mylio uses. I do this using the folder panel in C1, selecting the photo folder in the System Folders part of the panel.
Is it possible to have C1 Pro use the same folder that I select as output folder for generated JPEGs?

Not sure what the question really is, but the answer is likely yes as a C1 session can process images to any folder. Specify your preferred destination in the process recipe OR leave the recipe to use the default Session Output folder and re-link that Output folder to your preferred target folder. The 4 Session folders Capture, Selects, Output and Trash are links that you can change, they just happen to point to 4 folders created by the session.

I wonder if there is a setting to have C1 always put the exported files in the same folder as the original raw.

Are you using 14.3 for the trial?
If so I don't have a way to check for possible changes but prior to the latest release when using the Output Process Recipe function it is possible to specify where the Output File is to be sent in the process Recipe Tool under the File tab. The default options are "Output Location" or "Image Folder".
Image folder is the destination you require. However, that will also make it a target file for editing in a Session and you will likely see entries in the edit data subfolders as well.
