No hardware acceleration in Version 14.3 – no new Profiles for Canon RF lenses
Dear Capture One people,
the update from 14.2 to 14.3 (released today) was again like a slap in the face! The hardware acceleration still doesn't work on my iMac under macOS 10.15.7! With version 14.1 I could still activate it without any problems. Since this problem already occurred in earlier versions, your developers know very well what the problem is - you are just not willing to fix this bug.
Furthermore, once again no additional profiles for Canon RF lenses have been included in the update - shame on you!
I am losing the desire to continue using Capture One.

Don't worry, Metal for Intel is in the pipe, they said.
And as time goes by, I do get more and more sure it will be in paying upgrade at the end of the year. That said, I wouldn't be that negative:
Even if the new Exporter is not of paramount use to me, I lust admit that the Magic Brush is a true gem.0 -
Answer from Denis/CaptureOne and my response to it - so that all forum members knowThe issue you reported is still on our to-do list.
14.3 was in development for a while and this means not all the currently known issues were fixed.
We also can't stop releasing new versions till all the issues are fixed, as this is a never ending process and we would never release an update in such a case.Hi Denis,What you're saying is really tough. I think it's outrageous. Why? Because in Capture One 13.x the hardware acceleration still worked, with version 14.0 it was unfortunately no longer possible to activate it, but it was fixed again with 14.1. Unfortunately, it could no longer be activated with 14.2 and 14.3.This means that the developers know exactly how to fix the problem, but with arrogant attitude the priorities were shifted in such a way that the fixing of this reported error was simply put on the back burner. Sure, you can do it that way, but please realise what price you have to pay if customers like me no longer want to stay with you under these circumstances.
As for the lens profiles – we have introduced this new way of formally requesting lens support, this in an effort to make lens request more visible to our Product Owners, so they can prioritize the most requested lenses and speed up support. This is a monitored thread, where all the requests are reviewed.
Based on those, the implementation of support for the most requested lens profiles is prioritized. Please check it here and leave your lens support request there. You don't know that I've already mentioned the missing RF profiles several times in the feature request group for lens profiles? Keep in mind that the Canon RF lens profiles are among the most requested lens profiles. Did you not know that either? So I have to state that your argumentation falls apart, because you do not act as you claim in the name of your Capture One company. What is the point of numerous users asking for support of certain Canon RF lens profiles if Capture One ignores those requests for years? The claim that you prioritise according to the number of requested profiles is simply not true!
I ask for your answer.1
