Custom watermarking individual files in mass export

I'd like to make custom watermarks for each individual image, but if they are part of a group export, the watermark is adjusted across all images. Using crops, this makes the watermarks different sizes. I'd also like to change the opacity for each watermark according to the image, but cannot seem to maintain individualized watermarks on each image. Thanks for any help.

  Not sure if this will be what you want.  I created a couple of watermarks in photoshop, then imported them as png files.  It means I can add them to the bottom of any image and adjust the size, opacity, etc.

  So far as I am aware there is no way to make a watermark part of the "edit" data for a specific variant and therefore no control over a permanent value for size and opacity of a watermark for a specific variant. That also effectively eliminates the possibility of batch output processes for individualised watermarks on a per-variant basis.

  As a Mac user you have access to Applescript which might possibly offer some options that address your needs but I suspect it probably does not.

  As a Windows user I am not familiar with Applescript. Hopefully, others who are familiar with will appear here and comment on the possibility.
