Global Token for All Export Recipes
The exporter redesign, contrary to what is claimed in many videos, did not retain all of the previous export functionality.
Version 14.3 no longer allows the specification of one value (export location fragment) to be used across all recipes.
Imagine you want a global folder location, e.g.,
"C:\Exports\".
You also want to associate different folder locations to different recipes, e.g.,
"C:\Exports\...\JPEG\"
"C:\Exports\...\TIFF\"
etc.
Now where the "..." dots are above, you want to specify a value that is specific to a particular export, say a client name -
"C:\Exports\Madonna\JPEG\"
"C:\Exports\Madonna\TIFF\"
- or a specific purpose
"C:\Exports\Slide Show\Colour\"
"C:\Exports\Slide Show\BW\"
vs
"C:\Exports\Album\Colour\"
"C:\Exports\Album\BW\"
- etc.
Version 14.3 allows to specify the root folder and the recipe-specific subfolders (via the use of a token), but there is no way in 14.3 that allows one to enter
"Madonna", "Slide Show", "Album" etc. into a field so that a token assumes its value and then can be used to determine the overall output locations for all selected recipes.
Could you please bring back a respective token (along with a field to enter its value upon exporting)?
