Unable to edit the final DNG from the merge HDR function
I really appreciate the help of the forum!
Trying to perform a 3 image merge and the DNG is unable to be edited. It will perform the merge function, and both the auto alignment and auto adjust. Just afterward the merge CaptureOne is treating the DNG like a read only file.
Kindly,
ED

So you have selected the images, run the process, watched the Activities window and seen the process complete and then present the Completion advice window?
At that point using the "Show Photo" button from the "Complete" message box should take you to the new file in the browser and load it to the viewer.
If all that is happening but you cannot edit the file what Icons are displayed on the Thumbnail in the Browser window?
Is it safe to assume you are using a Catalog?
It would be interesting to know if you have the same result using a session - but if you are not already a session user this may not be something you would wish to try.

I actually use sessions to create easier ways of identifying projects in my workflow. Essentially after the HDR merge CaptureOne is creating a read-only file which I cannot edit. This problem is present whether using my IQ 160 or IQ3 100 Trichromatic. In another online group I received advice that this problem is unique to using the CaptureOne for PhaseOne version. I have sense e-mailed CaptureOne directly and asked for a new license key to unlock the Pro version so that I can have full functionality.
