Workaround for export order bug and Output Subfolder removal in 14.3
Hi folks--
I've just put together a set of scripts for dealing with a couple of the more egregious bugs in 14.3's lobotomized Export functionality: not paying attention to manual sort order, and not having a way to export into subfolders of the Output folder across multiple recipes. While we wait for stuff to get fixed, if you're stuck with having to use 14.3 (as I am...) and can't downgrade back to 14.2 for its clearly superior Process/Output functionality, this should get you somewhat less frustrated.

oh my God thank you so so much for this script for exporting in manual order! You just literally saved my life!

These scripts are going to save me scores of hours. A huge thanks to you, Martin!

After 5 full days of waiting after I submitted a support issue with Capture One regarding the lack of manual export, I received the below reply this morning:
"I consider the manual order behavior a bug and I've filed a report with all the details for our R&D team to audit the issue. I will place your ticket on-hold and will get back to you when we have a response from our engineers or if we need any more information for this report. We also cannot guarantee that this bug will be fixed in the next service release, but rest assured that it has been reported and will be looked into and our developers will do their best to roll out a fix as soon as possible."
In other words, no one should be holding their breath in hopes that this will get fixed quickly.
Again thanks, Martin.

This is just what I need thanks. I am getting an error as below when I run it, any ideas?
The operation couldn’t be completed. /Users/rogercuthbert/Library/Scripts/Capture One Scripts/Process In Correct Order.scpt: execution error: Capture One 21 14.3 got an error: Invalid process output folder. (-43)
What output folders have others used ?
Any help appreciated

The "Process In Correct Order" script works flawlessly for me. I'm happy to explain what I've done, but I have no experience nor expertise with scripting.
As Martin explains at the link above:
1. Set your Export recipes using the Export dialog, reset image counters as you see fit, and hit Close rather than Export (I have also set the Location Folder to Catalog Default Desktop, and the Sub Folder to "C1 Export - Current Date token - Current Time token)
2. Once you close the Export dialog, go to Scripts > Process In Correct Order, and your images will come out in the correct order
You wrote that the error message specifies "Invalid process output folder (-43)". I opened the script in Script Editor (on a Mac), and there is no folder specified whatsoever.
I looked up AppleScript error code -43, and it is: "File <name> wasn’t found"
Perhaps you forgot to use the Naming tool to enter a name format?
Maybe you're having a general problems with scripts? Do you have other scripts you use regularly, or have run in the past? Have they worked fine? In not, you might search for some, install, and test.
Otherwise I'm happy to answer any questions about what my C1 settings are.

Thanks so much for the prompt reply Bryce.
I had followed Martin's guide. My export name was a 3 digit counter and the image name so defo not empty.
I was outputting to an external SSD but have now tried tried your output location (Catalog default) and it is now working. So thanks for the help Bryce.
And thanks to Martin too of course.

Thank you so much Martin for making these scripts available, solving the export order bug is a life saver. I found I had to change the output Location to a pre-existing folder (rather than create folders on-the-fly from tokens like collection name) to make it work, but that is a small price to pay until they fix this bug.

The issue with manual sort order not respected at export, has been fixed in an update today https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/4405441449233
