Tether issue

When I’m shooting, the images stop coming through and it says (detecting camera) or (no camera detected) can’t remember exactly which one. Extremely frustrating. There is no card in camera and I changed tether cables as I thought the one was faulty. Same issue. Any help?

  some ideas...

  accidently changed a camera connection settings ?

  other software running in the background  ?

  is it possible to test it with a different computer ?

  does it work with the manufacturer software ? 

  does the camera show up in the about this Mac sys report ? 

  does c1 have all the need os rights ?
