Mac previews not viewable on PC

I've been using C1 for several years on my PC without issue. I recently bought an M1 macbook pro. Sessions that I view on the Mac and then view on the PC show all the previews as corrupt. Images are fine. And I can regenerate the previews on the PC but this is a big issue for general productivity and worrysome. Has anyone else experienced this?
