Batch Processing removed?

Am I missing something?  Batch processing or the ability to add the processing Icon (cog) in customisable toolbar is no longer available.

 

has this way of processing images been replaced with the exporting tool button?

 

if so as a professional photographer this method is by far the worst method, it makes the workflow drastically longer now having to work in a new window to process images.

    Yes, the new Exporter replaced Batch and Processing tools. And yes, you're not the first to notice the adverse workflow impact. Just read some of the earlier posts and replies.

    I encourage you to submit a Support Request like I did and tell the developers just how this impacts your workflow. Maybe if they get enough complaints they'll fix the problem before 22 ships. I think a fix should be pretty straightforward: keep the new Exporter (which has some nice capabilities) and give us back the old Batch and Process/Export tools so we can use and configure them to suit our workflows.

    What is a "professional" doing, updating to a new version of software without fully testing it first?

    You clearly misunderstood my comment, incorporating a new system of processing images that has been the staple of this companies product for years drastically changing it to a less conventional method of work flow, this not only does this not bold well with all professional photographers using capture one for years, it will certainly deter new comers alike.  exporting the images is not ideal, its very lightroomish.

    many of us are not making the move to the newer version as we all are just sticking with the previous version Capture One 21 (14.2.0) 

    we certainly hope this new way of processing images is only an error on there behalf and will soon be rectified in an up coming version.  photographers at our agency have def forwarded their complaints and have made their voices heard with emails.
