    Senthil,

If you check the Release Notes you will find that there are some constraints about file dimensions that MIGHT be relevant, although if the files are of a typical size I would doubt there is an issue.

The other constraint might be images without an RGB colour profile - for example, monochrome images.

If none of the limitations apply to your image files I'm not sure what to suggest UNLESS the Pentax files changed DNG versions at some point and, perhaps, some versions are not supported?

Thanks a lot for the comment.

Yeah, the files are all the same size DNG RAW from Pentax 645Z, with sRGB color profile.

I looked at the camera firmware. Files from earlier and later dates work but not in between. To give an example:

Folder 1: Date: 11/12/15 Firmware: PENTAX 645Z Ver. 1.00 ---> Works on Capture One Pro 21

Folder 2: Date: 2/25/16 Firmware: PENTAX 645Z Ver. 1.22 ----> Doesn't work on Capture One

Folder 3: Date: 5/9/16 Firmware: PENTAX 645Z Ver. 1.22 ---> Works on Capture One Pro 21

Camera firmware version 1 files work; with ver 1.22, some files work and others don't. I have no idea what the difference is in the file structure that causing the problem.

As a workaround, I save the DNG files that don't open on Capture One Pro as TIFF files on Adobe LR, then import and work on them in CoP, but it is a pain, takes more space and organization becomes a problem.

    Any fix would be great.

    Thanks again.

    Cheers

Then you should probably talking to Capture One, Senthil:

Thanks a lot, Keith. I was looking to message Capture One, but wasn't sure how to.

    Cheers,
