Nikon Z6ii error when connecting - 101#112, General Error, the resource is not connecting, camera is not connected

Suddenly my Z6ii is generating this error when tethered to CaptureOne. It has never done this before. The license is valid, it's only running on my laptop. 

I've restarted the camera and laptop/CaptureOne numerous times. Any suggestions?

    Any recent Windows Updates applied?

    Can you connect the camera to the computer for purposes other than C1 tethering?

    Thank you! The tether itself, while being recognized for importing images from the camera, for some reason was not working with Capture One. When we switched cables, it worked! It's always the easiest thing that's the last thing one tries :)
