I can use Silver Efex Pro 3 (4.1.1) with CO 21 (14.3.0)... by opening Silver Efex Pro 3 BEFORE opening CO. Then select an image to edit in CO as in the past by selecting edit with Silver Efex Pro but be sure to select save from Silver Efex Pro's FILE drop-down menu unlike in the past. The black and white edited image will now appear as normal in CO.

Clunky as you say but it works!

By the way I do not have any problem editing and saving images with Silver Efex Pro 3 that were created with Silver Efex Pro 2.

When you go to Image - select  EDIT with (here you will see the plug-ins but not NIK) and choose SEARCH.

In Windows go to C: Program files > DXO or NIK or GOOGLE application  and click the file you want - it will open and after saving you are back in C21.

Open Google and go to NIK-Colection: Choose Color-Efex, Silver-Efex etc. and it will open, save  and will return to C21

The is this issue is with DXO and not C1, if you pull apart some of the DxO code you can clearly see either poor coding that renders Silver Efx. And Viveza incompatible in C1 and ON1 or a deliberate attempt to exclude them from fully integrating. There is a long thread in the forum about it. DxO support have contradicted themselves many times over this issue, alas I don’t think they plan to address the issue

I am using color Efex Pro Ver 4.1.1 with C1 ver 14.3.0.26. It functions as expected.  There were problems with the 4.0 release, if you are using 4.0 updating to 4.1.1 may solve some of your issues.

Thats not true, Viveza and Silver Efex do not work the other do, any edits made in Viveza and Silver Efex are not sent to the file TIFF file in C1.

I'd like to encourage C1 to talk with DXO and arrive at some kind of reasonable accommodation for customers who use both.  Unless DXO is an Adobe property now.
