How do I edit the metadata of library photos?

Just moved from Aperture (finally...) and getting to grips with C1.

Where or how do I edit metadata, for example change the date of the photo?

    Two answers:

    1) you can't change the date inside of Capture One.  I use Exiftool for such things, then tell Capture One to "Load Metadata" to read the changed values.

    2) The fields you can change are in the Metadata tool tab.
