image edits lost in upgrade

I just upgraded from a trial version of Capture One 21 14.2.0 to a purchased version of 14.3.0  and all of my previous image edits are now missing. It's like my catalog has been wiped and reset, so while the images are still present, none of the edits I made in the past month are there. Is there any way to find and reapply? This is a huge amount of lost work.

    OK, so I've found that edit metadata is still applied to the images in my All Images catalogue, but not the images in my User Collections. I copied the images in those collections from my Catalog, so would expect to see them there.

    New CO1 user here, so guessing this is part of the package?
