Migrate catalog from Windows to macOS/OS X missing edits

I'm trying to migrate my Capture One catalog from Windows to macOS. From some previous forum posts, this looks like it should mostly be possible, and indeed, I've managed to load the catalog structure on the new macOS installation. However, all my edits seem to be missing, which rather defies the point – when I click on an edited image, I get messages like the following in the Event Log window:

Description: An adjustment mask for an image is missing. The missing mask has been replaced by an empty mask.
File: DSCF1489.RAF
Domain: com.captureone.captureone

Does anyone know how to fix this issue, so that my old edits stay intact?
