Actions as Styles

    Gerald,

The simple way to do that today, rather than waiting, would be to create a "Master" image for each multi-layer "style", including the masking requirements you expect to use, and save it somewhere that is readily accessible for inclusion in any session you create.

Once that is done and the folder with the "Master" images is made a favourite in the new session (for convenience  - it would not be necessary to make it a favourite but it makes life easier) you can simply copy and paste the edits from the "Master" image to your new set of images after import.

You could already apply multiple presets or styles on import but only to the fixed Background layer. The challenge would be that the masks would need to be applied and some masks (that people would no doubt expect to be included if any form of mask application on import is provided) do not really lend themselves to mass application in all circumstances, even using copy and paste.
