USB C 9in1 overheats?

Hi!

I use M1 MBP with Baseus 8in1 https://www.ceneo.pl/107635389 to usb 3.0 5m hub(active) than short usb A to usb C to eos R. It worked for many years with MBP with normal USB.

I had to reconnect camera many times.

Do You use this dongles or is better just to buy TetherPro cable(USB C - USB C).

I gave up with all the cheap hubs and convertors none of them have the correct chipsets in and nearly all are in some way reverse engineered. I use a Caldigit TB3 Hub with my MBP M1 and have had no problems at all with it.
