Plugin Initialization Failed

New error today upon starting Capture One Pro 21 build 14.3.0.260 under Big Sur 11.5:

8/4/21, 2:29PM   Plugin Initialization Failed
 
Description: Could not initialize the plugin 'Open With Menu'. Reason: The plugin operation timed out.
File: /Applications/Capture One 21.app/Contents/PlugIns/COOpenWithPlugin.coplugin

Code: 1102
 
I'm not using any plugins. Any help will be appreciated.

    I cannot help much here but have you looked into the preferences, tab "Plugins"? Nothing there?

    "Open with Menu" is a generic plug-in listing tool that is used internally to facilitate actions like "Open with" options in the menu.

    That it could not be initialized as a plug-in is slightly odd but it likely has no effect on anything you are doing if you do not use plugins.

    If it turns out it does become an annoyance you probably need to report it as a problem for investigation. To do so use the "Submit a request" link.

    Thanks for the replies. BeO: "Open with Menu" is indeed the only thing listed in the Plugins tab under preferences. If the error keeps popping up, I'll report it as SFA suggests.
