Are you on a subscription or on a perpetual licence? I'm on a perpetual licence and what I see is this.

it is a good move but it is crippled in a typical c1 fashion.  the biggest issue I see is it is far too limited to make it really useful.   7 days ? in what parallel world are they living ? why can this folks not even look how their competitor did it and make it a little better and not worse ?

this service should also be included with the subscription and not charged extra.

CSP/ Exactly, this feature isn't worth $10 at all.

sharing a screen is totally easy with an Mac and free !  uploading  proof galleries for my clients unlimited in time cost me also almost nothing,  so when I should pay for this service they have to offer more !  the 7 day limit is a clear sign they try to maximise profit and when you consider how cheap Amazon web services are you wonder if this company is run by idiots.

@CSP - if it isn't worth $10 to you, you don't have to do it! I'm unlikely to need to use this feature, so I won't be paying for it either. If it was included in the regular price, all those of us who don't need it would be paying for Capture One hosting other users' photos on their servers. I don't see how the 7 day limit is anything to do with maximising profit - if you need more than 7 days, you just share the album again, at no extra cost, as I understand it from the brief tutorial, and if there were no limit the servers would fill up with shared albums that no longer needed to be there, I suppose. So it makes some kind of sense to me.

...well this is not my hobby and I have better things to do,  a week is far to short in every field of our industry but maby it is made for hobbists who knows.   the limit is there to keep their cost of renting storage space down !

    really this low ?

Well, as I said, if you don't like it, nobody's making you use it.

I'm on an annual subscription , just paid for a year in November 2021. I don't get the upgrade to LIVE OR the ADD ON options either.  It seems only non subscription users are eligible to pay the $10/mo LIVE !!

Subscription users too can pay the $10 per month for Live if they want, as I understand it. But you will need to download the latest update (15.1) to be able to use it, and of course that costs you nothing.

Yes of course I downloaded 15.1
But the issue is after the 5 free Live tries, I’ve tried to purchase the $10/mo plan but it says I must first buy an annual subscription. I have a annual subscription and renewed it in December for another year. My annual subscription license code is accepted by 15.1 cap22 but it won’t allow me to purchase the Live $10/mo plan. There is supposed to be an ADD ON link, but this link only appears on C1 perpetual licenses for some weird reason.
I’ve tried resetting, restarting and re- downloading. It just won’t allow me to purchase the Live $10mo plan.

There is a massive glitch that's not allowing subscribers with past stand alone licenses on their profile, I cancelled my account and then re-signed up with a new account with a subscription only no stand alone and it allowed me to get the add-on, tested this with another account with a stand alone version and then got a subscription and same thing doesn't allow you to get the add-on. So something weird going on with having a stand alone profile on your account

As far as value goes, I think it's awesome to have this service, the other day my client wanted to make some selects, I simply turned my laptop on at home and let them have at it, saved me time from having to export a contact sheet and I don't have to go thru a list afterward and select images, it's all done. And my client was able to make the selects on their plane ride home from their iPad. That's a very useful tool for me to have, yes $10 is steep, I mean a Netflix account is pretty much that. I think the more people sign up the lower they can bring that price down, what would be better is some value add, so maybe teaming up with WeTransfer and integrating the two, so that we can have direct uploads to WeTransfer and maybe even having a free WeTransfer pro account come with a subscription to Capture One Live?

good joke, the issue is not the price the issue is that this service is too basic and limited.
