Fujifilm X-H1 tethered AF not working

I'm having issues with C1 21 and my X-H1. Connected via USB to my PC Win 10, camera is recognized correctly, I can press the C1 shutter button and photo is recorded, but Camera Focus controls appear disabled. Camera is in autofocus, single shot mode, and I've tested more than one lens too. Camera Settings shows AF-S but no AF nor fine steps can be done.

I've tried also with Live View: in its windows the 'near' and 'far' arrows become active, and pressing them the lens changes focus distance, but as I press the C1 shutter the focus is reset to the initial position and the photo taken blurred. Opening Live View windows in Camera Settings the focus mode is now shown as Manual Focus.

There's something I do not understand on how to use this function, or is it completely unusable with this camera (listed as supported)?
