How do I move images Tether captured into Sessions on my MBP onto my iMac and into Catalog?
I just started using tethered capture so 2 days worth of shooting went into a Tethered Session. A new count number was started as well. My favored workflow is to shoot untethered, pull the card out of the camera and load it into a catalog into C1 21 on my laptop This is as much a backup as anything, then I take the card and load it into my iMac and C1 21, again I put them into a catalog, each year I start a new one. Now I've got images that are in a session and numbered totally differently than every other image in this years catalog which are sequential form the beginning of the year, all of these images are part of a project that started in January. I know the images are safe in the Sessions folder and maybe I have to live with that fact, but I still want to get them into my iMac to edit and export into a printable state. I dislike the fact that when tethered, the camera does not record a copy of the image onto the card.

You can import to a catalog from a location on your computer just as much as you can from a card. If you have already made adjustments to the images in the session, then when you import them to the catalog, you need to make sure that the box to include existing adjustments is checked. You can keep the images in the session folder, or you can have Capture One copy them to a new folder, or into the catalog. If you are copying the images to a new location (a different folder, or inside the catalog) you can have them renamed according to your existing system if you like. If you are keeping them in place you can't rename them on import to the catalog but you could do a batch rename afterwards and achieve the same result.
