C1 21 Mac - Round Trip versions don't show in Album

    Hi Ben,

Are you sure this came with v21 only ? Because when you "edit with...", you create an other variant (usually TIFF). When you work in a folder, this variant stays close to the original RAW. But for it to be transferred to an album, an action from your part should be needed I think.

    Hi Robert,

I am 100%, and 100’s of wedding and property shoots, sure.

    My catalogue is referenced.

I create a new project for each job. In that project, I create a base album, ‘All Images’.

I then import, direct from the SD card, all RAWs from that job, into that album.

Select a RAW, then ‘Edit with…’. Once edited, prior to 21, the edited tiff would, as you say, sit next to the parent RAW.

Now, with 21, I have to drill down through the ‘Folders’ section, through my import hierarchy, locating YYYY/MM/DD/, then find the tiff (which has synced perfectly) and drag it up to the album.

I *never* had to do this before. It’s a nightmare!

    Hi Ben,

What you say is the normal way of working for folders in catalogues. But what I know with albums is that the filling of them is not automatic, and depends only upon the willing of the user. You must drag and drop to fill in the albums. It has always been like that, to my knowledge. For projects, however, I don't know.

Nope. It's never been like that.

Works perfectly, as always, if I select Affinity Photo in the "Edit With..." menu. The new edit (tif) is created and appears immediately next to it's RAW in the browser strip.

Just not with Photoshop or Nik.
