Is there a way to load pictures directly from the camera?

    What camera? For many cameras, Capture One won't ingest photos directly from a camera using a cable. (Generally if you connect it with a cable, it thinks you want to tether.) However, I believe it is possible for some cameras - not any of the ones I have - so say exactly what camera you have and maybe someone who has the same model will be able to advise.
