File importing

How do I import a memory card so I can view all the images, but not download them? Similar to tethering. So when I eject the card the images stay on the memory card and are not downloaded. Sometimes I only want a couple of the images to export to a folder on my desktop. This way I’m not dumping the whole take on the computer. Sometimes I’ll shoot a 1000 images but don’t want to fill up my hard drive.

    Hi Jason,

    You might mean import instead of download. 
    In Capture One choose import, select the memory card, if in Capture One 21, click Viewer on (little icon in the top bar) and only select the images you would like imported. 
    You won't be able to edit your images directly on the memory card, they need to be imported to an internal/external hard drive.
