Fullscreen image view
During the developing I'm missing the Adobe (sorry) Hotkey F to show my image in full size on my monitor. I want a black clean screen without any other controls and a full size fitted image view. And it would be great to get the hotkeys for zoom in, out and mouse move for pan.
I'm wondering about the decision, the develop of this simple, but powerful function to suspend or decline.

Hi Jens, you can make your own custom shortcut set defining this.
In your View menu you can also define what you would like to have your fullscreen like, while in fullscreen.0 -
April,
Full screen via shurtcut F without distracting elements on the screen might possibly work on Mac but not on Windows.

Hello April,
Shortcut adjustment is not my question. The Capture One Full screen view (F10 default) ist not a full screen view. The "Full" Screen View has a disturbing Title bar, disturbing Controls for switching anywhat and Controls for show any values.
See attached screenshot.
This is not helpfull. I want a really full screen view. (Adobe Ligthroom Key F).

Hi Jens,
You are right, the "F10" (Windows>Viewer) is not full screen view. It is not meant to be that. It is rather a separate viewer window, its purpose is mainly for the work with two monitors. I suggest to keep this usage / purpose in mind when requesting improvements.
You can resize this window as you like. You can customize the viewer so that everything except the title bar is not visible, but it shares its configuration with the regular viewer. The viewer keyboard shortcuts "increase zoom" and "decrease zoom" don't seem to work though for the F10 Viewer, in the C1 Windows version.
"F" (View>Full screen) is meant to show the image full screen (I suppose, judged by its name) but does not work as a clean full screen representation of the image, apparently, in the C1 Windows version, it rather maximises the F10 Viewer (or the C1 main window) as if you clicked on the typical MS Windows windows maximise icon.
My expectation would be that F would actually remove all other visual stuff and only show the image full screen with a black background, just as your expectation. F should do this on the "topmost" window which is either the C1 main window or the F10 Viewer, and C1 seems to recognize this already.
Cheers

I use the Slideshow function for this with '`' used as the short cut key. '`' is right below 'esc'. Of course it is limited with no zoom and need to press 'pause' key to see image without control overlay.

Is anyone here and understand my wish und support me? I'm working since 9 month with C1 and it's in my eyes neccessary, to improve some workflows. It looks a little bit as wasted time to bring here a request. I know that I could use external programs to have a full sight on my pictures. If the vendor really interested in an optimized migration from LR to C1 they should hear the customers, what is unproductive. We all (or some of us) want to reduce the needed time for processing. Part of this is the review and the export-and-rename. Both need improvement.
I don't sit in a studio. I don't use two monitors. I'm using a Mobile Workstation. I've to send my images processed on the same day to Germany. After a Sport event day I have many images to import, review, process, review again, export and rename.
My stuff, my car, my Laptop and C1 are parts of this workflow. I'm trying to shorten every single step. Time is money.

Hi Jens,
I understand your wish and would support it if you made a new post in the "feature request" topic (this post is in topic "Capture One 21.x Software for Windows"). It is rare that someone from C1 replies in this topic so you can be glad that April did it, but your request has a realistic chance to be moved forward to the C1 dev team queue if it is in topic Feature request.
I will vote for it, if you request a "real" full screen mode for the Windows version for shortcut F (not for F10).
