Different behaviors for first time use

I lately created an account, downloaded Capture One 22 (15.1.1) and installed it on 2 different laptops.

I have 2 different behaviors I cannot explain after launching the app.

On the first laptop (at home), after clicking the "Let's begin" button, I'm automatically redirected to id.captureone.com for authentication. After logging, I'm told to close the window and invited in the app to either start the trial or activate the license

On the 2nd laptop (at work), after clicking the "Let's begin" button, the app displays the welcome page inviting me to log in (no redirection to id.captureone.com for authentication), but when I enter my email and password, after clicking the "Log in" button, I end up with an error message stating the connexion to the server failed. This laptop is connected to internet as well and the id.captureone.com address is accessible when I directly use it in the browser (so it does not seem to be a proxy / firewall trouble).

Do you have any clue what's going on in the second scenario ?
