Can't shoot from laptop when tethered to Leica SL2-s

I have a Leica Sl2-s and I use a 13" MacBook Pro M1.  When tethered I can live view just fine, but I can't take a photo from my laptop.  I can import photos from my camera and take a photo from the camera and it will show up instantly in Capture One 22.  My camera is using the latest firmware and from what I have researched everything should work just fine.
