very simple question
how to email a photo. is tru you guys give tons of info, but I don't want to read a dissertation paper to fix a simple problem. Lightroom has an option straight from the picture you just put the sender info and that is it, not with you people. all that reading is a waste of time and gets you stress out. same was switching from version 20 to 21 what a nightmare, every other upgrade from other companies not yours...

It sounds like you want a feature not yet a part of C1P. Why not submit a request for support from the support team? I think they are the "you guys" to whom you refer.
In much of the forum experienced users address shortcomings and seemingly capricious changes to the software. Nevertheless, despite frustrations, most of us have stayed with C1P because it fulfills a need not fulfilled by other software. We grumble and deal with the problems and ask for the problems to be fixed. All software has benefits and problems. I use software that has what I need and problems I can live with.

If it doesn't work for you then find something that does. A photo editor/DAM should make your life easier, not harder. I currently am happy with Capture One. At one time I was happy with Lightroom. And before that with Aperture. And before that Gimp. If/when I get unhappy with Capture One I'll try to find something else that fits better.
So far Aperture is still the best DAM I've used. If I could marry Capture One editing with Aperture DAM functions plus a few things that Capture One doesn't do I'd be in digital photo post processing heaven. :-)

I agree that it's strange that emailing variants is not something you can do out of the box. I wrote this Applescript for CO20 and have not been able to test for CO21, but it may be trivial to adapt. Assumes Mac, of course.
