Why does tethered import keep deleting my previously shot image?
Hi all,
I apologize for the confusing title. I'm at a little bit of a loss here, every time I shoot a new image and it imports to my tethered session, it deletes the previous file and I can't find it anywhere on my system, let alone in Capture One. What am I missing to be able to populate a folder with images of my session?
Using:
Fuji X-Pro 3,
Windows 10
Capture One 21
Thanks in advance!

Most likely your camera is in 'composition mode'? If so, you can switch it off via the first entry of the 'Camera' menu (at least in CO20, I assume the option exists in C021 as well).
You can also visually verify the 'composition mode' status in the viewer. When active, 4 circles with a cross are shown at the four corners of your image.
The idea behind 'composition mode' is that you can temporarily activate it (i.e. as long as you're building up and finetuning your composition). As long as 'composition mode' is active, any new shot will overwrite the previous one. During this phase, it's indeed often not very useful to store all the shots on your drive (they only consume HD or SSD space, and most likely you will delete these 'trials' afterwards anyway).
