Fujifilm film similulation importing as .raf file?
Hello there,
Very new to Capture One so apologies if a silly question. When importing from my Fujifilm X-Pro 3 as .raf file, the images are holding the film simulation colours from the camera? So if I had a black and white simulation... the .raf is black and white? I am pretty new to this but I thought film simulations only applied to JPEG images?
Any help very gratefully received.

The Fuji specific developments within C1 will load the Film Simulation setting as set in the camera automatically upon first presentation. It's intended to be a convenience.
This is, in effect, an overlay to adjust the RAW data in the .raf file after basic interpretation. It's not embedded in the source file as would be the case with a jpg created in camera.
You can change that to something else using the Base Characteristics tool.
I'm not a Fuji user so I have no links at hand to offer suggestions about training and guidance videos but I'm fairly sure you will be able to find something using the Community search tool or by, for instance, checking the playlist for Capture One in their YouTube channel.
