Color Exposure Edits in the Color Editor Advanced Tab Not Working
C1 21 build 14.3.0.260 running under Mac OS 10.14.6
I have created a layer and used the color picker under the Advanced tab of the Color Editor to elect the colors that I want to edit. When I make any adjustments using the Hue, Saturation or Brightness slider, even extreme adjustments, nothing is happening. If I check the "View Selected Color Range' box the adjustments display in real time as I move the sliders back and forth. Uncheck that box and it is as if no adjustments have been applied.
The layer box is checked so the layer is active and 'on'.
Other layers below this one that have a gradient applied are working just fine.
What am I missing or is this a bug?
Thanks

Did you make a filled layer? If not, try right-clicking on the layer name and "Invert Mask" to change it to a filled layer. Then try the color picker to select colors.
Or you could go to the Background layer, use the Color Picker to select a color, and then create a new layer from the selection. This works fine for individual colors—I haven't tried to create a layer with multiple picked colors selected.

A layer of some sort, no matter how the layer is created, would be required.
Abbott is asking the question I was about to ask before I read his response.

Thank you guys for coming to my rescue!
Abbott, that was the missing ingredient, a filled layer. I just had an empty layer and C1 wasn't having it.
Thanks!
