Software crash when browsing for a catalog at start up (Win 14.3.1)
Bug!
C1 v: 14.3.1.14 Win v: 21H1 build 19043.1165

When starting C1 and holding down the ALT key, it displays a dialog to create a new catalog, browse for a catalog, or Quit. After hitting Browse, C1 then displays another dialog stating "unable to initialise the program"

I've uninstalled / reinstalled, uninstalled all previous versions etc.. Any ideas please?
C1 v 14.2.0.48 is fine and works as expected.

However, it seems you are running the Express version and Express is limited to a single Catalog which may be contributing to your problem (although the way the problem is presented and the suggestions offered seem to be less than optimal).

You are correct that C1 express is limited to 1 catalog. But, express has the ability to browse to or create a catalog.
