Edit With - Multiple Images in Photoshop
When using "Edit With - Adobe Photoshop" to process multiple images in a focus-stack or exposure blend, the only option is "Edit Variant" which means that every image in the group is created as a Tiff alongside the original RAW; these Tiff's have no value, take up Memory and incur an admin overhead to delete them once the focus-stack/blend has been created.
When using "Edit With - Stack in Helicon Focus", an option exists to "Keep Processed Variants" thereby eliminating the administrative chore of selecting each of the Tiffs and deleting them from the Catalogue.
