Is it possible to apply a color rating to multiple images?

I'm talking about selecting individual images in a Session or Catalog and giving them all the same color.

    Yes.   Select your images.  Make sure Edit Selected is on.  Apply your color code.  The Adjustments menu or the right click menu on any of the images or using a keyboard shortcut all work.
