Replicating Nik filters and effects
I’ve just watched the ‘Workflow Tips and Tricks’ webinar and someone in the Q&A asked about integrating Nik Collection (or Color Efex Pro) into the workflow and David Grover said that there was nothing in the plug in that couldn’t be achieved in Capture One.
Firstly, does anyone know if this is true, and secondly has anyone mapped Capture One settings versus Nik filters/recipes? Or created equivalent styles or presets?
Thanks!

I think it's true that many Nik effects can be replicated in C1, but the advantage of Nik is that it's very easy to apply its effects and get a professional look, but it's not the best way to learn edit and many times the photos looks over-edited if you add a lot of filters on Nik. I not recommend if you want your photos to remain natural look

Thank you for replying Enric, and I think you make a good point about over-edited images. I have Nik already and would like to learn how to create similar effects/recipes in Capture One, so I have more control over the images and the editing, which is why I was wondering if anyone has mapped or translated Nik into Capture One.
