    Do you use metadata xmp sidecar files?

    If you don't know than the answer is probably "no". You can check the setting "Auto Sync" in  preferences>Image:

    If it is None then I have no furthe idea.

    I checked out and it was set to "none".....are you saying that that is what it SHOULD be set to?

    Yes, all good, I was on a wrong track. It's also image adjustments like exposure which is reverted back, right?

    Do you use a catalog or session?

    With the newest version of capture one I select “import”and then “add to catalog”

    Which version did you use before the upgrade to v22?

    I think it was 21. However I downloaded the new version from scratch rather than upgraded it, as I got a new computer.

    I am shooting in the dark, but can you try menu File>Verify catalog?

    When you do this, are you importing from the camera card, or do you copy from the card to your Mac, then import into C1?

    If you are importing from the card, you need to specify which folder to import to on your Mac.
