Problems when starting software?

A recently used session or catalog opens at startup. I would like to select the data to open from the list at startup.
The setting location cannot be found. what should I do?
Each time you start the software, you need to close the open session and select another session. It's very inconvenient.

    If you are on a Mac you can click and hold the left mouse button on the dock icon. A list with the the last used sessions/catalogs appear where you can choose which one to open.
